HISTORIC KITCHENS IN CANADIAN MUSEUMSColborne
Lodge Built in 1837, the Lodge was the country home of John and Jemima Howard, founders of High Park. The museum offers various hands-on workshops for adults and children, as well as family baking classes throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy cooking demonstrations and samples in both the summer and winter kitchens during our special events. Participants in the High Park Discovery Camps (March Break and Summer) cook in the restored kitchens using historic recipes. The Lodge is surrounded by beautifully recreated gardens including a 19th-century kitchen garden.
